Aaron Conners has posted a message in the General section at the Unofficial Tex Murphy Site's message board asking us fans to list 14 aspects of a Tex game in order from most important to least important to us. This is all on the assumption that a new game was starting to be developed. Definitely head over there now and order them to your preference.

Adrian Carr has told Chris Marsland that in order for Chris Jones to give our petition to Microsoft (and have it make any impact) we need about 15,000 signatures. At this point, we have about 2000. If you haven't already done so (this is the same petition that we've had going on for more than a year now) sign it by clicking here.
Over at the Ritz Hotel, Darren has put up a list of all the people who have signed Chris Marsland's "Save Tex" petition. Check it out.
New quote of the week. Right now you're probably getting excited. Can't wait to get Tex back. Get ready to slump down in your seat. Tex is returning all right, but only in the Flash format and on JustAdventure.com. I'm not clear on exactly how its going to work, but let me tell you, this will not be as good as a real Tex game, I just can't see how it will be possible. I thought when I found out about Tex's return (If it ever happened) I'd be more happy than this, but right now I'm no more excited about the Flash Tex than I would be about getting a root canal. I'm being dead serious here. "Why?" you ask. Because this means one thing: Chris Jones, Aaron Conners and the rest of the Access gang over at Microsoft have given up hope that Tex will ever return in a full budget, sold in stores game. Personally I'd rather Tex just be released in novel format. If you want some more information check out CARP International. In the mean time, make sure you sign Chris Marsland's petition if you haven't already, because we're going to put it into overdrive and give the Access guys proof to give Mr. Gates that Tex Murphy deserves a real game.
You can now sign Chris Marsland's Polarity Petition from my page! Click here to sign.
One, two, three, four...
Sorry, I was just counting how many days it was since I last updated. My reasoning for updating, well several reasons. One, I feel I really should update, and two I have a few things to update. First off, CAPRICORN and Law and Order won't be updated just yet because I have to go through all the submissions in my e-mail. Why haven't I updated, you ask. Well the few days after the 15th, I didn't update because I was too into Star Wars. Since we've last spoke I've seen the movie twice and passed through the game 3 times. Next came June. Well you know what teachers love to do in June. Work! So then there's all this work. Then there's exams. And now, it's all over (Well until September anyway). First I want to tell all of you to head over to James Lemosy's Unofficial Tex Murphy Website and get information on the Tex Murphy Petition as well as some about the release of Polarity (It mat actually happen now!) For that reason the Polarity section has been put back up! Finally, Blair Yeany has created a Pandora Directive points list even more accurate then mine, so I have put it up on my site. Hopefully I'll update more often now! And anyone who hasn't received a reply to their e-mail in the past month and a half, I'm coming! ...five, six, seven, eight, nine... |
